About Us

Campbell Welding & Machine Shop, LLC is a family owned and operated company that was established in Earle, Arkansas by Irby Campbell, Sr. in 1966. Irby Campbell Sr. built the company with the values of hard work, quality, and reliability as it's foundation. Brad Campbell, Irby's youngest son, is now the current owner of Campbell Welding & Machine Shop, LLC, and continues to carry on the values with which the company was built. As the business continued to grow, we moved to an 18,000 square foot shop on a 3 acre lot in Marion, Arkansas. We currently have 7 mobile welding rigs, which allow us to travel to our customers and provide services anywhere.

Owner & Principal

Irby Campbell Sr. was born and raised in Earle, Arkansas. In his 82 years of life, Irby was a Doctor of Motors for General Motors, a Fire Chief for the Earle Fire Department, and in 1966 he pursued his true passion of being a welder. Irby worked alone in his shop until his reputation of providing high quality welding services brought in too much work to handle by himself. Campbell Welding & Machine Shop employed 5 certified welders by the time Irby had retired and sold the business to his son, Brad Campbell.

My father, Irby Campbell, Sr., started the business in 1966.  He was well-known and respected in the Mid-South for his knowledge in the welding field.  I started working at the welding shop summers in 1985.  After high school, I attended Arkansas State University while working during the summers at the shop.  After graduation I returned to work in the family business full-time in 1991.  My goal has always been to produce the best quality product for our customers.
